Had Mr. Phelan for Marketing, some 46 years ago, in ADHS. We had a rapport, both had lived in PEI and both ended up in Arnprior. Farewell Rupert, a well lived life!

Mr. Phelan was one of my favorite teachers at A.D.H.S. He was always respectful of his students and made learning so much fun. Sending condolences to all his family and friends, at this sad time.

Mr Phelan expanded my world as a small town boy. He and Mrs Campbell were game changers

I had the pleasure to have Mr. Phelan (Rupert) as a teacher at ADHS. What always stood out to me was his way to make subjects interesting and having the uncanny ability to have all his students engaged in the class. He had a sharp wit and a great sense of humor coupled with a great sense of timing. You could tell when he was having fun while teaching when he would look at you very seriously then start to laugh. One of my favorite teachers, as he treated you with respect and I learned so much in his classes. Sending sincere coldolences to all of Rupert's family, friends and former students who share the same sentiments as I do.

I didn't have Rupert as a teacher in my time at ADHS, but I remember him. And never heard a bad thing about him!
