I recall when I was a little girl and my Grandma Kargus came to care for my Dad and me, Dorothy lived around the corner from us. My Grandma and her became fast friends, as were my Aunt Grace and my late Mother. I often went to play with her daughter Marilyn. We are all pictured here in the attached photo taken down in our beautiful park. Over the years Dorothy and I often chatted about "those good old days". She was a very quiet sweet lady always saying hello wherever we would meet. She will be missed! RIP dear Dorothy! xox

We were sorry to hear of Aunt Dorothy's passing . We had a nice visit with her on her 100 th. birthday. She certainly has had a full life and will be missed by all ! We will not be able to attend as we will be out of the country. With our sincere sympathy to all the family, Marion and David Baird

Mrs. B, my neighbour for many years! She was missed on Ida Street after she moved into her Renfrew residence. I felt badly that she had to leave her beloved house until I was informed that she loved retirement living and she was having fun! I got to see for myself when I helped to celebrate Mrs. B’s 100th birthday! She looked great!! Totally happy, she beamed! I was happy to bring her some rhubarb jam from the neighbourhood. Good times! To all of Mrs. B’s family members, I send my deepest condolences and prayers. You are blessed with a lifetime of memories, feel free to share some with the rest of us who knew your grandmother too!
