Obituary of Marjorie Tissot

Marjorie Helen Tissot (nee Nolan) August 8, 1922- July 5, 2022 Our beautiful mother passed away peacefully surrounded by our loving presence on Tuesday evening, July 5th, 2022 in Arnprior Ontario nearing the end of her 100th year. While she may have left us physically, her inspiration, spirit of adventure, and joy of living will stay with each and every one of us. Marjorie Helen Tissot was born in Ottawa, Ontario and was predeceased by the love of her life Jules Garwood Tissot. She was an amazing mother to her daughters; Theo Gray (Terry), Lynn Avery and Sandi Greenough (late Tom). Her grandchildren Kimberley, Dwayne (Jannine), Amanda (Joe), Steven (Erica), Conor, Christine (Seb) and Kerri (Kevin) meant the world to her and great-grandchildren Corey, Chase, Jude, Nolan, Kaius, Isla, Eryn, Alora, Danya, Stellah, Rori and Wren, were the apple of her eye. She will be fondly remembered by several nieces and nephews. Marjorie was predeceased by her sister Sadie and brothers Melbourne and Harry and was the daughter of the late Edward and Sussana (Lewis) Nolan. As mom would say “Always make sure at the end of the rainbow you always have ice water”. Marjorie’s arrangements have been entrusted to the Boyce Funeral Home Ltd., 138 Daniel Street North, Arnprior. Cremation to take place. A gathering will take place later in the summer to celebrate Marjorie’s Life and the Legacy she has gifted us all. In memory of our mom please be kind to one another and cherish each and every moment with your loved ones. A donation in her memory may be made to the Arnprior Regional Health Foundation.
