I worked with Randy at Farley Mowat Public School, we had many early morning conversations, mainly about the great outdoors and Randy’s love of travel. One day the students and I were discussing making a change to the classroom and I told the students I would need to check with Mr. Wicken’s first. One of the students asked who Mr. Wickens was and another student said “Mr. Wickens is the school principal”. Randy and I chuckled for days after that comment…. I am so very sorry for your loss, Randy will always be remembered for his hard work and dedication to his work at Farley Mowat. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

My deepest condolences to all of Randy's family and friends. I always loved working with you, Randy. Going for lunches, to the casino, seeing you on our street, chatting in your garage, and randomly running into you in Mont Tremblant (you even gave us ski lift tickets!) Your generosity is endless. You have a very big heart! I will miss you a lot! Phil

I am deeply saddened to hear of Randy's passing. My condolences to his family, friends, and colleagues. I worked with Randy several years ago at McGregor Easson School. He was an outstanding Chief Custodian. He worked harder than anyone and had such pride for his school. He truly was the nicest person and will be missed by all who knew him. Sincerely, Nina Muzumdar

Dear Dorval, Elda and Sandra…..
I’m so very sorry for your loss of dear Randy!
Randy will be sorely missed! We enjoyed his company at our backyard get togethers! It was always hoped that Randy would bring egg rolls!! He knew where to get the best ones! He and James would also join us on the ski hill in Wakefield or on Tremblant’s slope and post ski dinners!! As Hunter remarked…. Randy was the nicest guy!! I’m gonna miss him!! We all will! Hugs! Lori, Steve & Hunter

My heart is so heavy since learning of Randy's passing. Growing up, Randy was like a brother to me. I have so many fond memories of trips our families took together. As adults, Randy was always there for me (helping me to move, charging a car battery, etc.) He was the kindest and most generous of souls. He will be tremendously missed. Hugs to my Aunt Elda and Uncle Dorval, Sandra and Scott, Ricky and Nancy. Love Brenda
