Thank you everyone for the warm condolences to the family. It is with heavy heart that I take pen in hand to share a few memories.
We were a lucky bunch to have a stay at home mom. I loved coming home for lunch. I still do!
Mom believed in teaching us morals and she took us all to church when we were younger. Years later she took a Toastmasters course and was quite proud of her speech about the bible and coming in first in the competition.
Bridge night was a highlight for her. I remember that kids were not to be seen and these dressed up women would come over, play cards and eat little sandwiches with no crust. We all played cards and Mom was quite competitive.
Bowling was her sport and she was quite upset about missing out on an opportunity to play in the Senior Games.
She was our biggest fan and proud of all of us. We all have fond memories of that will last our lifetimes. There won’t be a day that goes by that she won’t be thought of. I’m so proud of her, my dad, and the family we share.
Love, Robert and Lauri
