On behalf of the Madawaska Ladies Golf Club I would like to extend our sincere sympathy to Norma’s family. She was a long time member and an extremely generous sponsor sharing her artistic talents with us. It was always a pleasure to have a chat with Norma as she always had a very interesting anecdote to share.

My deepst sympathy to all Norma's family - especially Suzanne. Norma kept in touch with me frequently by email. She sent me her family news and also her wonderful poems and funny anecdotes. We grew up together but she always stayed that one year older!
I don't use the computer but my husband Angus - who is now 100 - is very proficient and he is sending this for me. Sincere condolence from him too.
There are so many memories - all of them good.
With love, Cousin Lois Wyatt

a project on the go for herself or the community.

Norma was a wonderful and talented artist , we have some of her work , but this one is my favourite and I will always think of the kids of Fitzroy Harbour , playing on the frozen Ottawa river.

My thoughts and prayers are with you Suzanne at this difficult time.
I will always remember your mother as a wonderful lady, whom I was privileged to know, her candour, honesty, integrity and awesome sense of humour is a legacy left behind to be extremely proud of. I am very honoured to own a piece of her art work, which she gave me, I look at it often and remember her fondly.
Wishing you much peace,
Danette

Summer time at Constance Bay in the 1940s was heaven on earth for the Latham clan. Norma will be there again as we gather with Valerie, Ronnie, Keith, Christine, Sheila, Margaret, John, Ted, Faith, Janet, Bill, Lois, Ray and Ted. Build a bonfire on the beach. We'll bring the marshmallows.

I am sorry to hear of Norma's passing. She was a friend to many in the Fitzroy Harbour and Arnprior communities. She was very talented and always had a kind word and smile for all. Norma always had a story, many about her family which she was so proud of. Her monthly poem in the Fitzroy Peeper was always creative for the time of the year. She will be missed and her memory will live on in so many ways. My deepest sympathies and prayers to her family and many friends.

Oh I feel so sad as I read Norma's obit
She was truly an amazing person, one of the best I have ever met. Our paths crossed many years ago, in the 80's, when I worked at The Guide newspaper and Norma a budding artist. As the years past and our lives moved on, we would once again connect - Norma living at the Arnprior Villa and I working at Seniors at Home. It was like no time had passed at all. We shared in our memories past and present, talking in length. I will always be grateful that I got the chance to share her story with others when she was featured in our publication "Angels in Grey"
I will truly miss her weekly emails containing her latest poem, jokes, newsletter news and highlights of family gatherings. I got the biggest kick out of this 86-year-old-plus lady rocking the computer. She was a joy in so many ways!
God Bless Norma as she had blessed her family and all that got the chance to be called a friend.
My thoughts and prayers are with all of Norma's family and friends.

My prayers to the whole family for comfort, peace and faith. Rest assured that your mom/grannie is busy painting our next rainbow from heaven and accompanying the angels that sing from heaven on the piano. Much love Kathy, Bob and the boys.
