Obituary of Doris Lillian Campbell

(nee Bulmer)

March 11, 1929-October 20, 2017

Passed away peacefully at Arnprior & District Memorial Hospital Friday, October 20, 2017 in her 88th year.  Daughter of the late Earle and Margaret Bulmer of Forester Falls and younger sister of the late Grace Patterson (Brampton).  Doris was active in Ross Presbyterian Church until she began her teaching career which included Stafford, Pine Grove, Clay Valley, Braeside, and Walter Zadow schools.  Doris and her husband, the late Don W. Campbell, had three daughters; Mary, Diane (James) and Laurie.  A woman of solid faith, Doris served in the choir and as an Elder at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Arnprior.  She also volunteered at the Arnprior Hospital and enjoyed euchre parties throughout the community.  Loving grandmother to Don and Jack James, Doris enjoyed her last years at the Arnprior Villa, revelling in the fun times with caring staff and her many friends, most particularly her beloved companion Warren Gale.  Arrangements by the Boyce Funeral Home Ltd., 138 Daniel Street N, Arnprior.  Cremation has taken place.  Visitation Saturday October 28, 2017 from 10 a.m.-12 noon.   Funeral Service will commence at 2:00 p.m. in the Boyce Chapel.  Rev. David Hooper officiating.  Interment to follow at Arnprior Albert Street Cemetery.  In memoriams to the St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, Arnprior or the Arnprior Regional Health Foundation would be appreciated.
