Our family certainly enjoyed Doris's company whenever we would land to visit our father, Warren Gale. There was always a hot breakfast in the dining hall, much laughter and usually music during our visits. She will be missed by Warren's Alberta family.

Our sincere condolences. Doris had a special place in our heart, always a smile and comment when we met her at church or otherwise showing her witty charm. She was the elder when we baptizing our first daughter and was there to support Harold while he was the Clerk of Session. We were blessed to have her at church the day Harold retired from the clerk position a few weeks ago. She will be greatly missed. May God give you peace at this difficult time.

Dear Campbell girls,
My sympathies are with you. Doris was my teacher way back in the day when she taught at Pine Grove and was being courted by your father. Memories are grand to hold onto so keep them close.
The "Campbell Drive Queens" are all up there now having a grand old reunion and I hope somebody remembered to bring the cards!
Take care, Geraldine

Diane and family, so sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. I first met your mom through my husband Daryl, whenever we would meet her somewhere she would have to tell me he was one of her favourite students. Later I enjoyed our talks when she came to the bank. I am sure your great memories will carry you through this difficult time.

Doris helped me tremendously in my first year of teaching. She was the grade 5/6 teacher at Braeside Public School and I was grade 3/4. I couldn't have survived that first year without Doris' kindness and assistance to me. I will miss seeing her at church suppers.
