Clancy, Helen Janet October 7, 1915 - July 3, 2005 owner of Clancy's Drug Store in Arnprior from 1955 to her retirement in 1986, First female President of The Corporation Board of Arnprior and District Memorial Hospital, which she served with distinction, Janet also served the Arnprior and District Historical Society, The Arnprior and District Archives, The Arnprior Library Board, The University Women's Club, The Arnprior and District Humane Society and The Dochart Reading Club, Janet was a faithful member of St Andrew's Presbyterian Church in Arnprior, The Queen's Jubilee Medal was presented to Janet in 2002 Janet passed away suddenly but peacefully at home on Sunday morning, daughter of the late James Brodie and Helen Fetterley, predeceased by her husband Harry M. Clancy in 1974 and her brother Ian Brodie of Upland California in March of 2005, dear sister in law of Mrs Ellen Brodie of California, loving aunt of 4 nephews and their families in California, Janet leaves many friends in Arnprior who became her adopted family Resting at The Boyce Chapel, Visitation and Reception Centre 138 Daniel Street N. Arnprior where friends may pay their respects on Friday 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm only, funeral service will be conducted in St Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Arnprior on Saturday July 9, 2005 at 11: a.m., interment Arnprior Albert Street Cemetery following cremation, in memoriams to Arnprior and District Memorial Hospital or St Andrew's Presbyterian Church appreciated by her family,
