Deepest Sympathies to the Brass Families on the loss of Jim. Have lots of great memories of Jim over the years and his love of showing and breeding Hereford Cattle. Jim also volunteered his time to the local 4H calf clubs in the county showing us how to make rope halters and neck ties he was a pro. Jim was a wonderful individual and will be missed. Rest in Peace Jim

We send our deepest sympathy to Pat and family, and Karen, Warren and family. We have lots of memories of showing Herefords at fairs with and against Jim. He always had an easy smile and good sense of humour which helped make some of those long days fun. Jim was also an integral part of the Ottawa Valley Hereford Club helping to support the breed and breeders. We will long have memories of Jim as he made the best rope halters which we use here regularly. Jim made a lasting impression to the Hereford breeders in the Ottawa Valley. He may be gone, but he is not forgotten. Rest in peace Jim.
From Lois, Glenn and Sheila James

Thoughts are with Pat, Steven, Glen, Karen, Ian, and all the Brass families with the loss of Jim. I was lucky to meet Jim while working with Health of Animals at Ag Canada in Fort Erie. Our friendship continued long after we both left Fort Erie. I always checked the beef barns at the Valley fairs for Jim's smiling face. We would sit on a bale of hay and catch up on the cattle industry and our lives. He was a great friend and will be missed. Gloria Tubman
