Obituary of Peter Normandeau
July 28, 1955 – February 2, 2024
It is with sadness that we announce that Peter Joseph Normandeau of Arnprior passed away peacefully at Hospice Renfrew, Friday February 2, 2024 at the age of 68. Beloved husband of 46 years to Brenda (nee Burnette). Proud and loving father of Maegan (Matt). Predeceased by son Aaron (2018). Cherished grandfather of Sadie. Survived by his brothers and sisters and many nieces and nephews. Survived by brother-in-law Bruce Burnette (Sue). Son of the late Peter and Florence (Proulx) Normandeau. Predeceased by sister-in-law Tammy Burnette. Peter was an Automotive Service and Truck and Coach Technician for 31 years. During his retirement he enjoyed touring with his 1935 Chevrolet truck and working with his woodworking equipment and creating many unique items. His knack and determination allowed him to succeed with everything he put his mind to do. Also he was proudest when he and daughter Maegan worked with these as they acquired same interests. Special thanks to lifelong friends Bruce and Beth Fraser walking with Peter and family on his last journey. Heartfelt thank you to Dr. Langlois, nurses, staff and volunteers at Hospice Renfrew who provided Peter and family with above and beyond love and compassionate care. Your kindness will never be forgotten. Peter’s private family arrangements have been entrusted to the Boyce Funeral Home Ltd., 138 Daniel Street N., Arnprior. In memory of Peter, please consider a donation to the Hospice Renfrew.
