Obituary of Pamela Westcott

(nee Barnhart)

March 25, 1960 – November 1, 2023

With heavy hearts, we announce the peaceful passing of Pamela Constance Westcott in the early morning hours of November 1st, 2023, within the comforting embrace of her home. She was 63.

Pamela was the beloved wife and best friend of George Westcott. She took immense pride in being the devoted mother of Dwayne Westcott (Darcy Stewart) and Kelsey Westcott (Chris Garnier). Her heart swelled with love for her cherished grandchildren: Keira, Austin, Lylan, and Amara. She shared a deep bond with her dear siblings: Karen Gallant (Richard), Sharon Kelley (Dan), and Barb Everette (Mark). Pamela was born in Port Colburn, the daughter of Harold Barnhart and Claire Upper.

With 33 years of dedicated service in the Canadian Military, Pamela earned the distinguished medals of Afghanistan, ISAF, and CD1. Her retirement ushered in a new chapter where she found solace and pride in the art of wood carving and carpentry, showcasing her remarkable talent.

Above all, Pamela was a paragon of love, strength, and devotion, fulfilling the roles of mother, wife, and grandmother with grace and unwavering commitment. May her spirit find everlasting peace, and may her memory continue to inspire and comfort those whose lives were touched by her presence.

Pamela’s arrangements have been entrusted to the Boyce Funeral Home Ltd., 138 Daniel Street North, Arnprior. Cremation to take place. In lieu of flowers, the family invites you to honor Pamela’s memory through a donation to a charity of your choice.
