Steven Elmer Michelson

April 9, 1954 – July 27, 2023

On a peaceful Thursday morning, July 27, 2023, the world lost an exceptional man. Suddenly, at home, surrounded by the love that filled his life, Steve Michelson passed away in his milestone 70th year. Beloved husband of Janet (nee Bahm) for 44 years.  Proud and loving father of Natalie Ryan (Karl). Steve’s love extended to his cherished grandsons, Dean and Stanley, who were his pride and joy. He is also remembered as the caring brother of Joy Michelson and Pam Fulford (Dale).  Steve was predeceased by his parents, Elmer and Mary (McComb) Michelson. Steve's passions were many. He was an avid gardener, finding solace and joy in the very act of nurturing life from the earth. He was a man who embraced the wilderness, loved hunting, and fishing, respecting and appreciating nature's bounty. Moreover, Steve had a keen knack for fixing small engines, a talent that many admired and often sought after. Our deepest gratitude extends to the Paramedics and Police who responded with professionalism and compassion. The celebration of Steve's life will commence with visitation at the Boyce Funeral Home Ltd., 138 Daniel Street North, Arnprior on Sunday, July 30, 2023, from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m., as well as on Monday morning from 9:30-10:45 a.m. Following the visitation, a funeral service will take place on Monday, July 31, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. in the Boyce Chapel, followed by a reception in the Boyce Reception Centre. Interment Sand Point Public Cemetery. For those who wish to honor Steve's memory, donations can be made to Arnprior Regional Health.

We encourage all who knew Steve to share their memories and pay tribute to a man whose life was filled with love, passion, and an undeniable zest for life. Let us remember Steve as he was - a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. Rest in peace, dear Steve, you will be profoundly missed.
