Obituary of Willem "Bill" Schinkel

April 15, 1945 – March 5, 2023 Willem “Bill” Schinkel passed away peacefully at home, Sunday March 5, 2023 at the age of 77. He was a beloved father, grandfather, brother and friend. Willem was born in Holland to his late parents Willem and Ann Marie Schinkel. They later came to Canada and settled on the family homestead just outside of Arnprior. He will be fondly remembered by his neighbours and fellow musician friends and will be missed by his (part-time) furry canine pal. Willem’s arrangements have been entrusted to the Boyce Funeral Home Ltd., 138 Daniel Street North, Arnprior. A celebration of Willem’s Life will be held a later date. In memory of Willem one could offer a helping hand to a neighbour or simply sit back and listen to a favourite song or melody in his honour. Rust in vrede Willem.
