Obituary of Grace Fraser

May 12, 1938 – February 25, 2023 (Retired RNA, Ottawa Civic Hospital) Grace passed away peacefully at Extendicare Starwood in Ottawa on Saturday February 25, 2023 surrounded by family at the age of 84 after a brief and courageous battle with cancer. She was predeceased by her parents Frank and Elizabeth (MacMillan) Fraser. Survived by her sister Marion Walther (Arden) of Ottawa and brother Cameron Fraser (Denise) of Montreal. Grace was a cherished aunt, great aunt and great-great aunt to many nieces and nephews. She was a kind and gentle soul who always had a smile on her face and a kind word for everyone she met. She will be remembered for her kindness and unwavering dedication to the care of others. Special thanks to the staff of 1 South at Starwood for their compassion and care. Grace’s arrangements have been entrusted to the Boyce Funeral Home Ltd., 138 Daniel Street North, Arnprior. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday May 13, 2023 at 1:30 p.m. in the Boyce Chapel. A Reception will follow in the Boyce Reception Centre. Interment will take place at Sand Point Public Cemetery where Grace will be laid to rest with her parents. In memory of Grace, donations may be made to Diabetes Canada or the Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation.
