Wendy and extended family, our sincere condolences on the passing of Howard. Wendy, your Dad was a wonderful person. Dear Wendy
My most sincere condolences on the loss of your dad. He was a true gentleman with a kind and quiet demeanor, a wonderful sense of humour and true dedication to his family and community. I have many fond memories of playing golf in Aveleigh's foursome and Howard would calmly and efficiently take all four pull carts from green to tee and wait patiently while we all putted out and complained about how badly we played the hole. I also have happy memories of seeing him jauntily striding across the bridge, hat on head, after being at the library or one of his many volunteer activities.
Sincerely,
Jenn Smith

Wendy, so very sorry for your loss. I first met your dad on the golf course, he would come most Saturday mornings to be your moms caddy but then he would so graciously have managed to wheel all our push carts to the next tee while we finished out putting.
I later met him as a client at the dental office I worked for. Howard was always ready to have chat about what was going on at the golf course after your mom had passed away. Such a kiind and caring soul. Keep your memories close to your heart in the difficult days ahead.

Beth, myself and our four children shared a close neighbour relationship with the Ransom family. The whole family was caring and kind and an integral part of Arnprior.
Howard was so positive and helpful to everyone. His background in many areas, over a lifetime, will leave an indelible positive mark in this world.
Rest in Peace Howard.

Wendy I am so sorry for your loss. Your dad was one of the sweetest men I ever had the pleasure of knowing. I have known him my whole life and can honestly say I never saw him get upset. He was a devoted husband to Avaleigh, a dedicated and loving father to his two beautiful daughters and a loyal friend to many who were lucky enough to be his companion. He will be missed. RIP Mr. Ransom.

I first met Howard as a neighbor, and soon formed a good friendship that I will cherish for my remaining days. He was a gentle and very calming person to talk to. We spent many hours together in good conversation, laughter, lots of hard work making maple syrup, and numerous hours in his wood shop at his home, he was quite skilled and a good teacher Howard was well respected in the community for his person and volunteer hours with various organizations
To Wendy, and his family, my deepest sympathy , I will miss him greatly. RIP … my good friend, God Bless
