As a runner (now a plodder!) I remember Kevin as being genial, gentle, thoughtful and understanding. His gracious sympathy for those of us who were wounded or sidelined was always an encouragement to be patient and have hope, uncommon virtues that he taught us.

More than 40 years ago, Kevin and I toured the Maritime provinces. We talked about dreams and adventures, many are blessings today. I am grateful to have known him. Friends for life.

Days before Christmas Kevin joined our running/ biking group for coffee & conversation. We were impressed with how Kevin was recovering from recent surgery and looking forward to getting back to his active life. And then to find he died less than two weeks later. Shocked, can hardly described our feelings.
Kevin will be missed by so many. Modest about his strengths, supportive of others, generous, humourous, - the list could go on and on.
We have lost a friend, one of the good guys.

Kev, you earned that medal and many more. Although there will be a void, we now have a guardian angel. So we better keep doing what you did best. Always supportive, always smiling and never complain. RIP my friend.

Ah Kevie, we will surely miss your smile and always a laugh. You were such a great running partner for a lot of years and when that wasn't to be, you gladly joined Rob on your bicycle. Always the optimist. RIP dear friend.

I had the pleasure of meeting Kevin through mutual friends, John and Colleen, many years ago and was fortunate to subsequently spend many memorable and fun moments with Kevin since then. Some of those moments included Super BowI parties, many BBQ’s, weekly poker games and he even offered and delivered on a fun motorcycle ride. Kevin’s big heart and kindness were evident by always lending a hand where needed, whether it was fixing my snow blower, or helping to move an old tube TV to the curb.
Kevin always brought way too many yummy foods and treats to these events so when he was laid up in the hospital for some time, Colleen and I delivered a basket of goodies to help with his sweet tooth. Kevin was always the first to put his hand up to offer help if it was needed and provided us with many, many laughs over the years.
To his entire family and Theresa, my sincerest condolences. Kevin had the kindest soul and will be so dearly missed.

My condolences to Kevin's family and friends. I met Kevin when we were 12 and have been friends ever since. A man with a heart of gold. He couldn't say no to anyone. If he visited your home he did not come empty handed. The Super Bowl parties will never be the same again. You will be missed Kevin.

My sincere condolences to Kevin's family for their loss. I have known Kevin for many years and always considered him a close friend. He would often have the guys over at his place whether on Powell Ave, Frank Street, his cottage at Saint -Pierre- de- Wakefield or his home here in Ottawa throughout the years and was always a gracious host. We shared a lot of great times together whether it was watching sports, playing poker at Johnny's or golfing. Anytime I had an issue with my lawn equipment or snow thrower, he was always eager to help in anyway he could. Thanks Kev for enriching my life with your laughter, keen sense of humor, kindness and generosity. Rest in Peace Kev, your spirit lives on forever!

Here's my fondest memory of Kevin:
We always talked about his beloved vintage Suzuki motorbike. Then he went out and bought a big Honda cruiser, which suited him just fine. One day, he says "The saddle was starting to crack, so I bought a new one." I asked if it was a stock saddle or maybe a custom-made one. He says, "No. I got another motorcycle!"
Typical Kevin humour. He offered to let me drive the Honda whenever I wanted, so long as he was riding the big new-to-him Suzuki right beside me. Again, typical Kevin: funny, fun-loving, generous, spur of the moment.
I miss him already.

Kevin will be dearly missed by his many friends. Summers with bike rides along the river, or camping weekends with friends and scoops of Neapolitan ice cream will never be the same. His charismatic personality will always be remembered. My deepest sympathies to those that were in his circle.

Our deepest condolences to Kevin's family. We remember Kevin with the brightest smile, and a very quiet and calm disposition. Growing up, he was the quiet one in the room, but he was the kindest and most gentle soul. We are so saddened by this news.

My Dear friend Kevin, they always say the good ones are taken from us too early, but clearly the heavens needed an Angel with your many talents! May your soul rest in God’s gentle hands and let perpetual light shine upon you.
Kevin, you will always be missed, but never forgotten my friend!
