Obituary of Gladys Carss

January 4, 1929 - November 28, 2022 With sadness we announce the passing of our mom Gladys with her daughters by her side at Hospice Renfrew on Monday November 28, 2022 at the age of 93. Beloved wife of the late Fred Carss (2004). Loving mother of Cathy Muldoon (Paul Neil) and Beth Pope (Dan). Gladys was the proud grandmother of Ryan (Jen), Erin (James), Brandon (April), Lyle, and Richard (Sherry). Cherished great-grandmother of 11. Gladys was predeceased by her parents Christie and Edith Foster of Lanark, Ontario. Predeceased by sisters Doris Palmer, Christina McCullough and Donna Whyte. Survived by her only brother Orland (Christine). Special thanks to her caregivers and friends at the Arnprior Villa, Bayshore Palliative Care nurses and the Hospice Renfrew Team. Visitation will take place at the Boyce Funeral Home Ltd., 138 Daniel Street North, Arnprior Wednesday December 7, 2022 after 10:00 a.m. A service to celebrate Gladys’ life will take place at the Boyce Chapel at 11:00 a.m. Interment Arnprior Albert Street Cemetery. Reception to follow at the Boyce Reception Centre. In memory of Gladys please consider a donation to Hospice Renfrew. Gladys was a past and long-time member of the Order of the Eastern Star, The Lorne Sutherland Women's Institute, the Red Hat Society and the United Church Women.
