Obituary of Greg Carr

(Retired-Hydroseed) Gregory James Carr of Arnprior passed away at home unexpectedly, yet peacefully without mention, after a courageous battle with health complications, Sunday July 3, 2022 at the age of 65. Predeceased by his beloved wife Tracy Connell (2019). Proud and loving father of Rodney Lascelle (Melissa) and Jamie Carr. Cherished grandfather of Odin, Lily, Bradi and Brianne and great-grandfather of Declan. Dear brother of Blaine Carr (Debbie). Loving uncle to Chris, Tina and Scott Carr. Predeceased by brother Ken Carr (Lynn Deacon) and sister Cathie Carr (late Jerry). Son of the late Herman and Pearl (Schlievert) Carr. Greg was an owner and member of Carnelle’s Timber Rattlers Dog Kennel. His greatest joy was time spent training and running hound dogs and working field trials alongside his son Rodney. Greg was a long-time member of the Arnprior Legion Branch #174. He treasured his family and friends immensely and will be missed greatly. Greg’s arrangements have been entrusted to the Boyce Funeral Home Ltd., 138 Daniel Street North, Arnprior. A Celebration of Greg’s Life will take place at the Arnprior Legion, 49 Daniel Street North Sunday July 17, 2022 from 1-4 p.m.
