Obituary of Upcoming Service Gwenn Bambury

(nee Sherrington) It is with great sadness the family announces Gwenn’s sudden passing on June 14, 2022. As Mom liked to say, she was 39 years old plus tax. Gwenn was a loving Mom to Lynda (Steve Cunningham), Brian (Diane), Kelly (Mark Houston), Peter (Wanda). Devoted Grandmother to Kyle, Sara, Katie, Kory, Caleb, Cameron and Angelle. Grateful Great Grandmother to Aria, Palmer, Kira and Maci. She is survived by her sister Gail and many extended family and friends throughout Canada and the U.S. Welcoming her with open arms will be her husband Ben, parents Lilian and James (Sherrington), her sisters Brenda, Selma, Alwyn and many other family and friends including Peggy. Later in life Gwenn went back to school and graduated in 1983 as an RNA. She enjoyed helping people and found joy in her new career. She was also very involved with several charities including the Legion, the Arnprior library and the Arnprior-Braeside-McNab Seniors at Home. At Christmas, she would sell her Reindeer food to support charities in Arnprior. Gwenn also set up a charity in honor of her beloved cat “Romeo’s Fund” at the Gillies Grove Animal Hospital. Mom always had a Joke and was not shy about sharing them wherever she went. Donations in lieu of flowers to any of the above charities would make Mom happy and also sharing a joke to put more smiles in the world would honor her. Gwenn’s arrangements have been entrusted to the Boyce Funeral Home Ltd., 138 Daniel Street North, Arnprior. A celebration of Gwenn’s life will be held at the Boyce Funeral Home Ltd., 138 Daniel Street North, Arnprior Saturday September 24, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 Noon. Interment to follow at Arnprior Malloch Road Cemetery. Love and Miss you Mom!!!!
