William Leonard “Bill” Laventure November 14, 1935-February 2, 2022 (Lifetime Farmer) (Renfrew County Cattleman) (Soil and Crop Improvement Association) (Orange Lodge #1393) (Past Director-Ontario Federation of Agriculture) (United Co-operators of Ontario) (Upper Ottawa Valley Producers and Consumers) It is with sadness that we announce that William Leonard “Bill” Laventure passed away peacefully at home, Wednesday February 2, 2022 at the age of 86. Beloved husband of the late Alice “Buff” (nee Wilson) and Phyllis (nee Laundrie). Proud father of Brian Box (Nicole), Debbie Laventure, Lou Laventure (Linda) and Cathy Laventure (Scott). Cherished grandfather of Rick (Stacey), Kim, Kaylie (Tak), Jason (Kristina), Jonathan, Naomi (Shane), Leonard, Lance (Kayla), Nicole, James (Sarah), Daniel and great-grandfather of Hannah, Abigail, Lindsay, Jacob and Hiroshi, Tanner and Teagan. Dear brother of Karen Anderson of Calgary. Lovingly remembered by niece Diana Trainor (Bob) of Kingston. Fondly remembered by his step-children and their families and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brothers Keith, Lloyd (Marie). Son of the late Leonard and Pearl (Hamilton) Laventure. Bill’s arrangements have been entrusted to the Boyce Funeral Home Ltd., 138 Daniel Street North, Arnprior where visitations took place Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and after 9:30 a.m. Monday morning. Funeral Service Monday February 7, 2022 in the Boyce Chapel at 11:00 a.m. In memoriam donations to Arnprior Regional Health Foundation. Spring Interment will take place at Flat Rapids Cemetery, McNab-Braeside, Saturday June 11, 2022 at 11:00 a.m.
