Douglas Howard York March 24, 1940-January 30, 2022 It is with sadness that the family of Douglas Howard York, announce his passing on Sunday January 30, 2022 at the Ottawa General Hospital with his family by his side. He was 81. Beloved husband of Nancy (Lentz), dearly loved father of Jason (Maneau) of Dieppe, N.B. Predeceased by sons Jamie (2009) (Delanie) and Rodney (2020) (Nathalie). Grampy to Graysen and Melanie. Brother to Fred and Bev, both of Ottawa. Brother-in-law to Bruce Lentz (Sandie) and Phyllis Rafter (Gary). Dear uncle to his 6 nieces, Erin, Jennifer, Amy, Sarah, Catherine and Bobbi Jo. Special thank you to the Doctors and nurses at the Ottawa General Hospital for their outstanding care and compassion. Doug’s arrangements have been entrusted to the Boyce Funeral Home Ltd., 138 Daniel Street North, Arnprior. An interment will take place at Sand Point Public Cemetery in the spring. In memory of Doug, a donation may be made to the Ottawa Hospital Foundation.
