Obituary of Boneta Box

(nee Stewart) September 24, 1939-January 3, 2022 It is with heavy hearts that the family announce that their Matriarch, Boneta Box passed away peacefully at the Arnprior and District Memorial Hospital, Monday morning, January 3, 2022. Boneta Elizabeth Box of White Lake, Ontario at the age of 82. Dear wife of 63 years to Carl Box. Loving mother of Lennis “Beaver” (Jill) and Carrie. Loving Nan to Tanya (Ian), Mallarie and Beckie. Nan- Nan to great granddaughter Ensley and twin great grandsons Hutton and Jack. Loving Nan to favourite grandson Jesse Desarmia. Survived by brother Edwin (Fern), sisters Roxy Watt (Terry) and Gail Gillies (Douglas). Predeceased by brother Mel (Wilma). Boneta will be missed by many nieces and nephews. Daughter-in-law of the late Irene McConeghy. Daughter of the late Greta McEwen and Peter Stewart. Boneta’s arrangements have been entrusted to the Boyce Funeral Home Ltd., 138 Daniel Street North, Arnprior. Due to current COVID restrictions, events will remain private at this time however, friends may pay their respects to Boneta and her family by lining the streets near the White Lake United Church, Friday January 7, 2022 at 12 Noon. The funeral procession will make its way from the funeral home to the family homestead on Point Road via the White Lake Road and will pass by the church at approximately 12:15 p.m. Social distancing measures must be observed by all who attend. A Graveside Service will take place at the White Lake Community Cemetery in the spring. In memory of Boneta, a donation may be made to the White Lake United Church.
