I was so sorry to hear this sad news. Tanya was a fantastic friend to me when we lived in Japan and I have many great memories from that time. I also had a lovely time visiting her in Hong Kong too. Tanya was kind, fun and a supportive friend. Despite last seeing Tanya in 2000 (i live in the UK) I still think of our time together. Thinking of of Tanya's family and friends.

My sincerest sympathy to Tanya’s family. She loved her family, especially her 3 nephews who were always part of any conversation with her. Tanya was a beautiful soul inside and out. I met Tanya in Ottawa about 12 years ago, we bonded instantly over our roots from the Valley and our favourite hockey team, the Montreal Canadiens. After she moved from Ottawa to Toronto we would meet up when I was in the city and would even stay with her on occasion as well. Tanya even traveled to Mexico to attend my wedding and be one of my photographers. I’ll miss our chats and hangouts. She always filled the room with joy, and my memories with her will live on every time I think of her.

Susan, Don, Shirley, Lynn, Brian and family. Ken and I were so sorry to hear of Tanyas passing. She battled her fight with cancer with such positivity and courage and she did it her way without having regrets. We hope the wonderful memories of how she lived her life and made a difference in so many others lives, both personally and professionally will help ease your feelings of loss over the days and weeks ahead. Cherish her memories as she lived her life. She may be gone but will remain in our hearts forever. We are sorry we are unable to attend the visitation or service as we are out of the country, but will raise a glass and toast her life.
