To Margaret, Janet, Stephen and Laurie. So sorry to read about Allan's passing. He was an excellent person. His family's farm was next to the Carmichael farm and my Mother and he attended S.S. no 7 a one room school house together. The families walked to school in all kinds of weather.

Steve, Janet, Laurie and families,
Growing up on Third Avenue, everyone on the avenues back then knew your dad. He always had a smile and friendly hello. He always took interest in what you were up to. I had the pleasure of working with Allan at Playtex, one of my first jobs out of high school. This is where I learned your dad had a great sense of humor and I looked forward to our chats at work. He could make you laugh and brighten up your day. He had that sly grin and you just knew he was up to his teasing ways which he was famous for at work. I will remember him for his great sense of humor and always taking the time to talk and share a laugh.
Sending condolences to the entire family at this very difficult time.

Margaret, Janet, Stephen and Laurie,
We were fortunate to have known Allan for more that thirty years while we worked at Playtex. He always had an interesting way seeing the humour in our daily work lives. With his friendship at Church and our shared interest in gardens, we enjoyed his views on both. We are thinking of your family as this time of Allan's passing.
Kindest regards,
Mike and Jill Reid

I was very sad to hear of my dear cousins passing, my sister and I always enjoyed our visits with Allan and Margaret when I was able to come home to the Valley. We always looked forward to our visits and always came home with some lovely Red Pepper Jelly. He always enjoyed his vegetable garden, and pointed out all his wonderful tomato plants. I will miss his wonderful laugh and warm hugs. My condolence goes out to Margaret and her family.

We wish to convey our condolences to the Bahm family. Allan and Margaret were great neighbours and we loved our friendship with them. Allan made the best Red Pepper Jelly and Sweet Dill Pickles. We missed them when we moved to White Lake. We can still see him sitting in his lawn chair at the end of his garage watching the world go by. Big hugs to all the family

My heartfelt condolences to the Bahm family. Although I have not seen you for many years, anytime I think of Playtex, I think of Alan teasing Mom (Hazel). I remember him at different times when Playtex colleagues would gather at our house. They always had a great time with lots of laughter. I often think of you as well Margaret and your dad. I was a very young inexperienced caregiver and he was so kind and patient with me. Know that your family are in my thoughts and prayers especially during this difficult and sad time. May your good memories help you through these days.. God Bless You, Janice Phillips Buck

Allan, Marg and Janet enjoying breakfast before the Guest Speaker - notice that look - "There is Liz, again, with her camera". I loved catching him off guard - it was an on-going joke.

"Wherever a handsome soul has been there is a world of treasured memories."
Mr. Bahm was truly a handsome soul and now leaves a world of memories for his loved ones and friends to treasurer. Memories that will provide a comfort for his wife, children and grandchildren in the days, weeks and years to come.
I was lucky enough to have called Allan and Marg my friends. I so enjoyed when, together, they attended the BNL sessions then hosted by myself on behalf of ABMSH. He brought his own sense of humour to the subject of the day. I can still see that 'special' smile. He always made be feel appreciated. I will never forget the first time he shared a jar of his famous Red Pepper Jelly (so damn good) and later we exchanged jars of beets with a friendly competition to see whose was the best!
My heartfelt condolences to Mrs. Bahm, Janet and all of Allan's family. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. xoxo

Dear Mrs. Bahm and family. I am so sorry for your loss. My father, Roy Turton, was a good friend of Allan and was always telling us stories about hunting, golfing, Playtex, anything they did together. I am not sure, but there were probably a few fishing stories in there too! They always made us laugh. Of course our encounters with you both were also enjoyable May he rest in peace. Jane
