Beloved wife of the late Bruce Wallace (1994). Daughter of the late Dick and Sadie Robbins of Braeside. Proud mother of Joyce Moffatt, Robert (Brenda) and John (Wendy). Cherished Nana to Chad Wallace, Brittany Lavictoire (Drew), Pat Wallace (Michelle), Holly Clute (Johnny), Josie Laventure-Wallace, Jesse Moffatt (Amanda), Jordan Moffatt, Josh Moffatt (Lauren) and great-grandmother of William, Theo, Travis, Lilly, Meyer, Tessa, Taylor and 2 on the way. Dear sister of Doris Robbins and Howie Robbins (late Lois). Sister-in-law of Gladys Armstrong (Ken) of Arnprior. Remembered lovingly by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brother Douglas (late Lois), sister-in-law Betty McLachlan (late Ray) and an infant son. Dearly missed by friends Yvonne Cunningham, Joan McConnell and Mary Robinson. Joan was the Matriarch of a multi-generational farm at Clay Bank. Being multi-talented, and a self-proclaimed “Domestic Engineer”, she loved to knit, crochet, cook and bake. The butter-tarts, cinnamon biscuits and cookies never stayed in the freezer too long at Joan’s. She was a long-time volunteer with the Arnprior Hospital Auxiliary and could be found many an afternoon helping customers at the Opportunity Shop. Always a sun worshipper, she will be remembered as the lady with the dark tan. Special thanks to Dr. Gordon and the exceptional staff at The Grove. Joan’s arrangements have been entrusted to the Boyce Funeral Home Ltd., 138 Daniel Street North, Arnprior where private family visitation and funeral service will be held Saturday June 5, 2021. Interment White Lake Community Cemetery. A donation may be made to the Grove Redevelopment Fund or to the Arnprior-Braeside-McNab Seniors at Home Program in Joan’s memory.
