Obituary of Harry Hollander

Passed away peacefully on Thursday May 13, 2021 at the age of 85. After growing up in the Netherlands, he immigrated to Canada in 1964 with his new bride Charlotte (née Hilker). He resided with his beautiful wife in Braeside for over 57 years and became the loving father of Caroline (Jean-Luc Thauvette), Jim and Ingrid (Matt Jeffrey). His grand-children Corinne, Audrey, Lottie, Roxy and Johnny adored and admired their “Opa”. He was educated and worked as an electronic engineer for 30 years, but he was also a self-taught architect, computer programmer and an inventor. Family and friends will remember him for his modesty, creativity, kindness and his joy of life. Harry’s arrangements have been entrusted to the Boyce Funeral Home Ltd., 138 Daniel Street North, Arnprior. Due to COVID-19, a private celebration of his life was held with immediate family members in the beloved garden of his home.
