Obituary of Blanche Okum

nee Jackson August 31, 1939 – April 26, 2021 Blanche passed away at the Arnprior and District Memorial Hospital, Monday morning, April 26, 2021 after a series of health complications at the age of 81. Predeceased by her late parents Hubert and Muriel Jackson, brother Clinton and sister Bernice “Bunny” Gillan (late Everett). She will be missed by her daughter Lynn Demell (Chad), grandsons Koty and Patrick and Jim Okum. She is survived by nieces and nephews; Connie Mclean (late David), Jennifer Mclean, Stephanie Smith (Doug), Lynn Lachaine (Pierre), Daniel Lachaine, Chantal Cochrane (Sean), Bert Gillan (late Jill), Chad Gillan (late Crystal) and many great nieces and nephews. Blanche’s arrangements have been entrusted to the Boyce Funeral Home Ltd., 138 Daniel Street North, Arnprior. Interment at Arnprior Albert Street Cemetery at a later date. In memory of Blanche a donation may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
