Please share a memory of Ronald to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Ronald John Kedrosky CPA, CGA, Former CEO Arnprior Hospital, and the Grove Nursing Home. It is with shattered hearts that we announce that Ron passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at the age of 71, surrounded by those who loved him most. Beloved husband of Lee (nee Stubinski) for almost 50 years. Admired, respected and loved beyond measure by his daughter Tammy Beaudoin of Stittsville and his son Troy (Gannon Loftus) of Toronto. Adored Grandpa, best friend, “Big Guy” to Ethan Beaudoin and loved nephew of Geraldine Kedrosky. Predeceased by his parents Ray (2000) and Hedy (2019) and his in-laws Leonard (1976) and Lillian (1985) Stubinski. Family is not just about being related; it is about who is willing to hold your hand when you need it most. We would not have gotten through the last five years without the support of Larry and Sandra McGregor, Heather and Jeff Dolan, and Ron’s “brothers” Jimmy Visinski, Brian Bourk, Donnie Shennan, and Mike McMurchy. The love, support, and laughter you provided to Ron and to us will never be forgotten. Always a dog lover, Ron will be missed by Hunter, Harley and Gucci. Ron was a valley boy to the core. He shared his love of the outdoors with his children, grandson and friends and would always stop to talk to everyone he met along the way. There was nothing he loved more than the summer and fall spent at his cottage on Lac Vert with his family. He always said “a bad day at the cottage, is better than a good day at work”. Ron spent more than 20 years at the helm of the Arnprior Hospital and the Grove Nursing Home where he put his heart and soul into ensuring and sustaining excellent healthcare for our region. He taught his family that people don’t work for you, they work with you, and that sentiment led to lifelong friendships with his colleagues locally, and provincially. After retirement, Ron volunteered with the Galilee Mission Centre and again, made lasting friendships with those around him, especially Fr. Roy Boucher, Fr. Richard Kelly and Fr. David Perrin. Heartfelt thanks to Dr. Cathy Greenough for the incredible friendship, compassion and care you provided over the years. To Dr. Derek Jonker and the nurses at the Ottawa Hospital Cancer Centre, and to the palliative care team, especially Amanda and Jennifer; your gentle kindness will never be forgotten. Ron's arrangements have been entrusted to the Boyce Funeral Home Ltd., 138 Daniel Street North, Arnprior. A private service will be held for invited friends and family. In memory of Ron, please consider a donation to Research at the Ottawa Hospital Cancer Centre, Arnprior Regional Health Foundation or the Arnprior and District Humane Society. There are some who bring a light so great to the world, that even after they have gone, the light remains. Ron is that light.
