It is with great sadness the family announces that Catherine Shirley Cameron has passed. Catherine is now as it says in John 14:2-in our Father’s house in heaven, where there are many dwelling places. Catherine passed away peacefully at the Ottawa Civic Heart Institute Thursday July 3, 2020. She was 95. She will be reunited with her husband of 58 years Archibald (Archie) Cameron who passed June 3, 2007. Predeceased by her father Eric Wilfred Slater and Mary (Minnie) Kerr and her brother Murray (Phylis Walker). Deeply missed by Richard Slater (Shirley), Stephen Slater (Erica), Amy Fraser (Ryan) and Laura Slater, Catherine Kuhl (Lloyd) and Carla Reid. Fondly remembered by extended family and friends. Special thank you to the staff of the Arnprior Villa for the years of care and companionship. Catherine’s final care and arrangements entrusted to the Boyce Funeral Home Ltd., 138 Daniel Street North, Arnprior. Due to the current situation private visitation and funeral service will be held at the Boyce Funeral Home Ltd. A celebration of Catherine’s life will be held later when permissible. In memory of Catherine, a donation may be made to CNIB (CNIB.ca) or to Crohn's and Colitis Canada. (crohnsandcolitis.ca).
