We are saddened to announce the passing of Andre Leo Joseph “Jerry” Salois at Hospice Renfrew, Tuesday morning, February 18, 2020, after a courageous battle with cancer, at the age of 88. Son of the late Paul and Solonge (nee Goyette) Salois. Jerry is predeceased by his wife Estelle Salois (nee Paquette). Loving father to his children Pierre (Debbie), Denis, Danielle Purcell (Mike) and Michelle Bolduc (John). Cherished grandfather of Nicole, Amy, Tracy, Jason, Hailey and Andrew and loving great-grandfather of Molly and Lincoln. Dear brother of Thérese Moreau (Germaine) of Montreal. Jerry entered the Canadian Armed Forces at the age of 19 and went on to spend his entire career with the RCAF and Gov’t of Canada, retiring as a Major of the Air Force. Jerry’s arrangements are entrusted to the care of the Boyce Funeral Home Ltd., 138 Daniel Street North, Arnprior. To honour Jerry’s wishes, cremation has taken place with interment at a later date in the family plot at Monseigneur Pelletier Cemetery, Granby, Quebec. In memory of Jerry, a donation can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
