(Stewart's Bay Cottage Rentals)

After many hard and difficult battles fought and won, her family sadly announces Darlene Edith Kohlsmith (nee Stewart) has hung up her bagpipes to finally cross over and be at peace on Friday December the 13th, 2019. She was adored by all who knew her, especially for her quick wit, sense of humour and straight talk. Darlene never knew a stranger and made friends wherever she met, whoever she met. Predeceased by her parents Bartle and Lorinda (nee Bahm), sister, Marie (Ria) Stewart, and her youngest daughter Kimberley. Former wife and lifelong friend of Ray. Lovingly spunky mother to Lori (Jeff Hunsucker) and Valerie. Feisty "Gramma D" to Kara (Riley), Ryan, Josh and Payton. To Honor and Celebrate Darlene we will meet at the Boyce Funeral Home for visitation Tuesday December 17th from 7 to 9:00 pm, and again Wednesday December 18th from 10 to 11:00 a.m. Funeral service at 11:00 a.m., reception immediately to follow. Spring interment Sand Point Public Cemetery.  Donations greatly appreciated by the family to the Arnprior Humane Society or the Arnprior Regional Health Foundation.
