With great sadness we announce that Allan passed away suddenly at home Tuesday October 1st, 2019 at the age of 67.  Allan Jones of Smiths Falls (formerly of White Lake) was the devoted husband of Jeanine Martens.  Beloved father of Jennifer Jones (Tim), Julie Jones (Chris) and Michael Jones (Jenny), all of Arnprior.  Dear grandpa of Owen, Noah, Sammy, Jesse, Thomas, Jocelyn, Derek, Peyton and Jessica.  Allan is predeceased by his parents Tommy and Luella (Rathwell) Jones and his brother Gordon.  He is survived by siblings; Doris Stewart (late Morris), Ruby Struthers (late John), Donald (Brenda), Dorothy Johnson (Paul), Glenn (Lorraine), and Lorraine Prince (John).  Allan will be missed and fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews as well as Corry and William Martens and the rest of the Martens family.  Forever loved by his faithful companion Cooper.  Allan will be remembered for his light-hearted easy-going manner which will be greatly missed by his family as well as the many friends he made along the way.  Above all else, Allan had a generous spirit, always willing to lend a helping hand whenever he could.  Arrangements entrusted to the Boyce Funeral Home Ltd., 138 Daniel Street North, Arnprior.  Private family service to take place.  A gathering to celebrate Allan’s Life will take place at 729 Anderson Rd., Arnprior Thursday October 10th, 2019 at 5:00 PM.  In memory of Allan, a donation may be made to Renfrew County Mental Health - https://www.pemreghos.org/ or Lanark County Mental Health Services - https://psfdh.on.ca/services/specialty-services/lanark-county-mental-health/.
