Obituary of Ruth Scheels

(nee Proulx)

It is with sadness we announce that Ruth passed away surrounded by love and peaceful blessings at Stoneridge Manor, Carleton Place Friday evening, September 6, 2019.  Ruth Muriel Scheels of Arnprior at the age of 86.  Beloved wife of the late John “Jack” Scheels (1981).  Forever in the heart and prayers of her sons Gordon (Claire) and Donald.  Cherished Gramma of Shelley Ann (Richard Paquette), Jason (Tara) and Jarvis (Joy).  She will be lovingly remembered by her great-grandchildren.  Ruth was predeceased by her parents Michael and Mary Proulx and also by her brothers and sisters.  She will be remembered by many for her kind, friendly nature.   Ruth’s arrangements are entrusted to the Boyce Funeral Home Ltd., 138 Daniel Street North, Arnprior.  A Graveside service will take place Monday September 16, 2019 at Arnprior Albert Street Cemetery at 11:00 a.m.  In memory of Ruth, one could consider a donation to the Dementia Society.
