Obituary of Norbert Otawa

With heavy hearts we announce that Norbert passed away suddenly but peacefully at the Arnprior and District Memorial Hospital Saturday afternoon, August 10, 2019.  Norbert Otawa of Arnprior, Ontario at the age of 69.  Beloved husband for 34 years of Joanne (nee Fairfield). Much loved and devoted father of Courtney (Cassandra), Michael (Kaitlin), Kathryn, and Shelley.  Forever loved by his grandchildren; Noah, Conner and Carter.  Dear brother of Ferdanand (Brenda), Siegmund and Susan Lebold (John).  Fondly remembered by sister-in-law Susan Briscoe (Stuart) as well as many nieces and nephews.  Norbert was born in Germany to his late parents Antani and Gertrude Otawa. He will be remembered for his love of fishing, classic cars and spending time on his beloved pontoon boat.  Arrangements by the Boyce Funeral Home Ltd., 138 Daniel Street North, Arnprior.  A Celebration of Norbert’s Life will take place Thursday August 15, 2019 at the Boyce Chapel at 1:00 p.m.  Reception to follow at the Boyce Reception Centre.  In memory of Norbert, please consider a donation to the Arnprior Regional Health Foundation or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
