Ellen "Nellie" Christina  Barrie

August 6th, 1920-March 17th, 2019

Peacefully at the Groves Park Lodge in Renfrew Sunday, March 17th, 2019; Ellen "Nellie" Christina Barrie of Arnprior passed away at the age of 98. Beloved wife of the late Andrew Barrie. (October 18th,1991). Daughter of the late Alexander and Isabella (Stewart) Miller.  Predeceased by brothers: Jimmy, Bill and Mackie and sisters: Bertha Eady, Cassie McMaster, and Florence Eady.  Survived by many nieces and nephews.  Dear sister-in-law of Berna Barrie (late Lorne) of Renfrew.    Special thanks to Dr. Arcand and the staff at Groves Park Lodge for their excellent care.  Arrangements by the Boyce Funeral Home Ltd.,138 Daniel Street North, Arnprior.  Visitation will be held Wednesday March 20th, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. until time of Funeral Service in the Boyce Chapel at 11:30 a.m.  Reception to follow at the White Lake United Church Hall, 3 Burnstown Road, White Lake, Ontario.  Interment of cremated remains in White Lake Community Cemetery in the spring.  In memory of Nellie, please consider a donation to the White Lake United Church “Lift Fund” or to a charity of your choice.
