 Kevin Clarke Griffin

November 26, 1958-November 13, 2018

Passed away at the Ottawa Queensway-Carleton Hospital with loved ones by his side on Tuesday evening, November 13, 2018.  Kevin Clarke Griffin of Woodlawn, Ontario at the age of 59. Beloved husband of Robyn Griffin (Curry).  Dearly loved and respected “Dad” of Valerie (Nick) Griffin, Amanda (Richard) Doucette, Marjorie (John) Rightmeyer, Richard Bates, Keith (Lindsay) Hastings and Lorrie (John) Cook.  Cherished “Grampy” of Matilda Griffin, Peyton and Richard Doucette, William, Landon and Serenity Rightmeyer, Angel-Lynn and Cade Bates, Shianne and Dakota Hastings, Jeremy, Lucas and Sierra-Lynn Cook, Brianna, Justice, Kylie and Mason Matheson and Brooklyn and Dawson Graham.  Dear brother of Karen Griffin.  Predeceased by his biological parents Melvina and Kevin Griffin as well as the parents who raised him; Tom and Rene Clarke.  Kevin was a family-oriented man and served in the Canadian Military for over 29 years.  He was always there to help others, even if he didn’t know them. He will be forever remembered for his kind and caring demeanour.  Arrangements by the Boyce Funeral Home Ltd., 138 Daniel Street North, Arnprior. A Memorial Service will be conducted Thursday November 22, 2018 at the Bridlewood Community Church, 2 Stonehaven Drive, Kanata, Ontario at 2:30 p.m.  A time of memories and fellowship will follow the service in the Bridlewood Church Fireside Room. In lieu of flowers, a donation in memory of Kevin can be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
