We got to know Pearl at church and over the past months at The Villa. We had a nice chat when we played music at The Villa on August 4. She was a genuine lady in all respects and definitely will be missed.

Even though we haven't seen her in a couple decades, the passing of this lovely lady, the widow of my one-time Directorate of History boss and colleague, Ben Greenhous, has hit me kind of hard. She was just such a good person, so nice whenever we saw her. Life isn't fair at all. Our condolences to her son Carl and his family.

Good bye and God speed my good friend! I will miss our frequent chats at Moma Rosa's, your gentle energy and positive attitude and your kind smile. You are resting in His loving and forgiving hands. Heaven has yet another angel to look over those of us still here awaiting His call to join you.

I was saddened to hear of Pearl’s passing.... I was your Mom’s hairdresser for the past 8 years.... she had a great sense of humour and we always found something to chuckle about....I admired her tenacity to keep going even though many days she was in pain.... she was so strong....she was very proud to be your mom and I am deeply sorry for your loss....

Our family moved to Arnprior from the city in 2000. Next door Ben, Pearl, and Trip, would enjoy countless hours in their back yard. Pearl tending her beautiful flower garden, Ben wearing his wide brim hat, reading, Trip standing guard at the fence.
A gentle, kind and calm couple of truly decent people. Our family was lucky to have had them as neighbours.

Pearl was a beautiful human being who, I have no doubt, made the world a better place. Pearl was very vibrant and endlessly interesting. It was a pleasure to know her. Every time I encountered Pearl I felt better about our society.

Carl and family, our thoughts are with you on the passing of Pearl. We were neighbours on Findlay Avenue (Glebe), and Pearl taught piano to our children. When we moved one street over, we would often walk over to visit with Pearl and Ben on their front porch, and the kids would want to pat the dog. I had the pleasure of visiting Pearl and Ben in Arnprior, and then again with Pearl after Ben had passed away. There are such fond memories of this wonderful, kind and gentle lady... she'll be deeply missed by many.

Our deepest sympathy to Carl, Andrea, Liv and Aidan on the loss of Pearl. You were a fantastic son Carl and she clearly adored all of you. We always enjoyed having her quiet presence at our family gatherings and we are going to miss "extra Grandma Pearl" so, so much.
