Gordon Russell Blair Andrews

April 1, 1930 -July 24, 2018

Passed peacefully in Almonte on Tuesday July 24, 2018 at the age of 88.  Son of the late Russell and Charlotte Andrews of Pakenham, Ontario. Pre-deceased by sisters Iva (late Bill Sadler), Claire (late Thomas Kent), and Alice (Stewart McCann). Dear husband of Ruby Andrews (nee Schroeder). Father of Barry (wife Lynn) and Jeff (partner Heath). Grandfather of Spencer and Lauren. Gordon is fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and neighbours. The family will receive visitors at Boyce Funeral Home Ltd., 138 Daniel Street North, Arnprior on Friday, July 27 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. A brief graveside service will be held at Pakenham Union Cemetery on Dalkeith Street at 11am on Saturday, July 28 followed at 12pm by a reception in the lower level of St. Andrews United Church, Pakenham. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the nurses, doctors and staff of Fairview Manor and Country Haven for years of dedication, companionship and love. In lieu of flowers, donations in Gordon's name, made to The Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
