William Prescott Pierce, 90, of Pakenham, Ontario, passed away peacefully surrounded by friends and family at the Arnprior and District Memorial Hospital on Sunday April 29, 2018.  Beloved husband of 65 years to Donna (nee Clouthier).  Father of Clayton (Terri), Robert, and Randy (Danielle).  Grandfather to Chelsea, Tyler and Adam and Matthew (Kristin), Brett (Danielle) and  Bridgette (Chris).  Great-Grandfather to Aspen, Kendrix, and Greyson.  Predeceased by his parents Arthur and Catherine and siblings Kenneth, Clayton, Valance, Dellis, Cyril, Alice, Ruby, Armistice, Grenville, Bill, Wellington and Raymond.  Prescott was an avid life-long Toronto Maple Leafs Fan who loved “Everything Toronto”.   An outdoorsman, he also enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time at the hunt camp.  Thank you to all family and friends who provided support in this difficult time.  The family would also like to extend a special thanks to the nurses and doctors of the Arnprior and District Memorial Hospital for their excellent care and support.  Prescott will be greatly missed by his family and friends.   Arrangements by the Boyce Funeral Home Ltd., 138 Daniel Street North, Arnprior.  A Memorial Service will take place at St. Andrew’s United Church, Pakenham Wednesday May 2, 2018 at 1:00 p.m.  Reception to follow at the St. Andrew's United Church Hall.  Interment Pakenham Union Cemetery.  For those wishing to honour Prescott ’s memory or in lieu of flowers, donations to St. Andrew’s United Church, Pakenham or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
