"Jibble"

June 23, 1952-January 15, 2018

George passed away peacefully at the Ottawa Heart Institute on Monday January 15, 2018 at the age of 65.  He was the youngest son of the late Willard Moorhead and Lola Stevenson.  Predeceased by his sister Diane Moorhead, who gave him the nickname "Jibble Jabble".  He was well known by the shortened version "Jibble".  Also survived by brother-in-law Don Lanctot, his brothers Ted and Ron (Margo) Moorhead and several nieces, nephews and cousins.  He will also be missed by special friends Joyce Moffatt and her children Jesse, Jordan and Joshua.  At George's request cremation will take place and there will be no formal service.  A "Celebration of Life" will take place at a later date.  In memoriam donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
