So saddened to hear of Irene's passing. On our last visit she said she was ready for whatever God's plans were for her. She was ready to go to be with her best friend, Jesus.
Irene was a very contented lady, never complained about her circumstances. She loved her family very much, and appreciated all the love and concern she received from her neices and nephews.
Our deepest sympathy and prayers to Irene's family and friends. Irene will be missed at Glad Tidings.
Love and prayers

We are so very sorry to hear of Irene's passing and extend our heartfelt condolences to all of her family. We have no doubt that Jesus has lovingly welcomed her into His promised rest and that she now experiences the joy of seeing face to face the Lord Jesus in whom she placed her full trust. As members of Glad Tidings for the past 9 years, we have sweet memories of Irene's very loving nature and gentle but strong faith. She always made a point of inquiring after ourselves, our still young daughters, and others of our family in Kinburn. She will be missed, but fondly remembered.
God is faithful, by whom you were called into the fellowship of his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. 1 Corinthians 1:9
Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful. Hebrews 10:23

"Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live, and everyone who lives and believes in me shall never die. Do you believe this?” John 11:25-26
Irene believed this.
Dear, sweet Irene, such a precious woman, such a dear and faithful sister in Christ. Our loss is definitely Heaven's gain. We're so very glad to have known her.

My condolences to the family. I was but a little girl of 3 years old when we went to the Kinburn church where I remember Irene fondly. I remember visits to her house and her kind heart. It was considered a BIG treat to be able to sit with Irene in church back then for my brother and myself! We remember those opportunities we had to spend time with Irene with great fondness.

To the Family of Irene Fulford - I’ve known Irene since I was a little boy in the 1960’s when my Dad pastored the Kinburn Pentecostal Church. I’ve always said that Irene was my first girlfriend! She was in her 30’s and I was 6!!! I always invited myself over to her place on Sunday afternoons! Super special lady and dear friend in my life! We kept in touch every year .... including 2017!!! We even came back to Ontario to visit her in 2010!!! Our love to the family!! - Pastor Stephen and Susan Knoll - Laramie, WY USA — www.weareharvest.com - Harvest Church.

So sorry and surprised to hear of Irene's passing. She was a lovely lady who always had a smile and kind word. I would see her often at the grocery store and we would exchange memories and have a few laughs of the time she worked at the Harbour Store. My thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends.
