Obituary of Viola Jeanne Hoy

June 20, 1936 - October 5, 2017

Passed away peacefully at the Ottawa General Hospital, Thursday October 5, 2017.  Viola Hoy of Arnprior at the age of 81.  Predeceased by husband Richard, son Donald, brothers; Archie and Maurice Lavoie and stepsons; Brian, John and David Hoy.  Beloved mother of Denise Ringrose (Ian), Diane Forcier (Miles), Peter Forcier (Cindy), Brian Humphreys (Penny) and Randy Hoy (Joanne).  Cherished grandmother of Brianne Poulin (Jason), Celina Sulivan, Kristina, Tanya and Justin Hoy, Braedyn, Alexandria and Madison Forcier and Chase Sulivan.  She will also be missed by all of her great-grandchildren.  Dear sister of Mona Lavoie and Rita Montpetit.  Daughter of the late Arthur and Aurore (Vachon) Lavoie.  Special friend of Bernice Landon.  Arrangements by the Boyce Funeral Home Ltd., 138 Daniel Street N., Arnprior.  Interment to take place Saturday October 14, 2017 at the White Lake Community Cemetery at 10:30 a.m. A funeral service will commence at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 32 Jackson Lane, Arnprior at 2:00 p.m.  In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Arnprior & District Humane Society in memory of Viola.
