Obituary of May Agnes Murdoch

March 6, 1924– September 30, 2017               

Passed away peacefully at Fairview Manor, Almonte on Saturday September 30, 2017 at the age of 93.  Beloved wife of the late Alexander Hamilton Murdoch (2014).  Dear mother of Yvonne Rutherford (Brent), Alex (Donna) Murdoch and Heather Wigney (Glen).  Much loved grandmother of Devon, Andrew, Craig, Kirsten, Shawna and Stephanie.  Cherished great-grandmother of Sophia, Findlay, Tiany, Kenny, Alexandra, Austin, Kaylie and Evan.  Predeceased by 5 brothers.  Survived by sister-in-law Faye Allan.  She will be remembered by many, many nieces and nephews and relatives and friends in Australia, England, Scotland and U.S.  Daughter of the late William and Agnes (Adams) Allan.  May was born in Glasgow, Scotland and worked as an R.N. before coming to Canada.  She was an avid golfer and enjoyed knitting as her favorite pastime.  Arrangements by the Boyce Funeral Home Ltd., 138 Daniel Street N., Arnprior, Ontario.  Private family Celebration of Life to take place.  In memoriams to Fairview Manor, Almonte or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
