There are no words for the loss I feel. King was like my second Dad. My thoughts and prayers are with his family at this time. This is a turning point for all of us. Nobody can take King's place in our hearts. He was without question one of a kind and he will be ever so sorely missed.

Sending much love to the family. Uncle King will be missed. I hope he's playing guitar and wearing his kilt proudly in heaven.

Uncle King did not tell us how to live; he lived, and let us watch him do it. What an amazing life he led. I will never forget the way he smiled and the way he loved you all with every piece of his heart. I will remember Uncle King in many positive ways; including that big smile, great sense of humor, storytelling, sense of honour; and most important; his strong protective love for his family. In his memory, here is a Robert Burns poem.
A Red, Red Rose
O my Luve's like a red, red rose,
That's newly sprung in June;
O my Luve's like the melodie
That's sweetly play'd in tune.
As fair are thou, my bonie lass,
So deep in luve am I;
And I will luve thee still, my Dear,
Till a' the seas gang dry.
Till a' the seas gang dry, my Dear,
And the rocks melt wi' the sun:
I will luve thee still, my dear,
While the sands o' life shall run.
And fare thee weel, my only Luve!
And fare thee weel, a while!
And I will come again, my Luve,
Tho' it were ten thousand mile!
Love Lisa (Daughter of Sally Sarah Ethel Mackay and Dr. Dan Mehta)

Sorry to hear of Mr MacKay's passing.
I missed seeing him come through my cash at Canadian Tire. We always managed to have a good wee chat and a couple of laughs.
My thoughts and prayers are with your families during this difficult time.
May your fond and loving memories ease your pain.
