Obituary of Kirk Bancroft

October 11, 1970-February 28, 2017 Kirk Bancroft of White Lake, Ontario passed away Tuesday February 28, 2017 at the Ottawa Civic Hospital. He was 46. Beloved son of Bessie Bancroft, nee Hanson. Predeceased by his father Douglas (May 29,2015) and his brother Kevin (1986). Dear brother of Kathy Ludgate (Ed), Karen Bancroft, Karla Gray-Bancroft (Nick), Kristan Salter (Rodger), Kerry Lee Smith (Glen) and Kyle Bancroft (Ginger). Dear uncle of Sharlene (Bruce), Dougie, Robert, Matthew, Adam (Emma), Samantha (Collin), Sarah and great-uncle of Hannah, Sadie and Sophie. Racing cars and snowmobiles was Kirk’s life. He gained the respect of his fellow racers throughout the area and won many trophies over the years with his teams J & P Performance Racing and Rolling Thunder Racing. Arrangements by the Boyce Funeral Home Ltd., 138 Daniel Street N., Arnprior. Friends are invited to join Kirk’s family during visitation Sunday from 6-9 p.m. and after 9:30 a.m. Monday morning. Funeral Service will be conducted Monday March 6, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the Boyce Chapel. Spring interment White Lake Cemetery. A donation can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation in memory of Kirk and would be appreciated by his family.
