Passed away peacefully at the Ottawa Heart Institute Friday May 27, 2016. Donald Howlett of White Lake, formerly of Kitchener, ON at the age of 72 years. Born in Galt, ON to parents Kenneth and Marguerite (nee Murtha). Beloved husband of Catherine (nee Lorbetskie). Much loved father of Michael (Marie) of White Lake, and Jason (Holly) and Shawn (Becky), both of Kitchener. Cherished grandfather of Castin, Benjamin, Ashdon and Ethan. Dear brother of James Howlett (Sandra) of Guelph. Donald will be missed by many nieces and nephews and dear friends. Dearly missed by his cherished companion Charlie Brown. A private family visitation will take place at the Boyce Funeral Home, Chapel, Visitation and Reception Centre, 138 Daniel Street N., Arnprior Saturday June 25, 2016 from 9:30 a.m. until time of service. Private family Liturgy of the Word will be conducted Saturday June 25, 2016 in the Boyce Chapel at 11:00 a.m. Interment Capital Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Ottawa. In lieu of flowers, in memoriams may be made to the Ottawa Heart Institute and would be appreciated by his family.
