Passed away peacefully in the Arnprior and District Memorial Hospital Saturday September 5, 2015. Mervyn Cavanagh of Kinburn in his 90th year. Beloved husband of Hilda Cavanagh (Bidgood). Loving father of James Cavanagh (Beth), and Carol Nicol (Sandy). Predeceased by his son Cecil Cavanagh (Christine). Much loved grandfather of Ashley, Jon, Lindsay, Andrea, Kendra and Blair. Cherished great-grandfather of Grady. Dear brother of John (late Marion), Stanley (Lorna), Laura (late Everett). Predeceased by siblings Ernie (late Laverne), Norman (late Eleanor), Leonard (Sheila), Frances (late Neville) and Stuart (late Vivian). Will be missed by his extended family. Son of the late Richard and Eliza (Munro) Cavanagh. Visitations at the Boyce Funeral Home, Chapel, Visitation and Reception Centre Thursday September 10, 2015 from 6-9 p.m. and again Friday morning 9:30-10:45 a.m. Funeral Service Friday September 11, 2015 in the Boyce Chapel at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Hilary Murray officiating. Interment St. Paul’s Anglican Cemetery, Kinburn. In memoriams to the Arnprior Hospital “Partners in Caring” Foundation or the charity of one’s choice would be appreciated by his family.
