Obituary of Peter LeRoy

LeRoy, Peter August 21, 1934-June 20, 2015 Passed away peacefully in Broadview Nursing Home, Smiths Falls Saturday June 20, 2015 at the age of 80 years. Peter was born in Pointe Claire, (West Island of Montreal) to his parents Walter and Matilda (nee Graham) LeRoy. He worked at Huyck Canada Arnprior and Kentville, Nova Scotia.  Peter was a great sports enthusiast all his life and expressed his love of sports by writing the sports column in the Arnprior paper over the years. He was a member of the Arnprior Legion Branch # 174, avid member of the Arnprior Curling Club and Arnprior Golf Club and a member of Grace St. Andrew’s United Church.  Peter will be greatly missed by his spouse Marion Campbell; his sister Margaret and her husband Eric and family; his daughter Ruth Mayo-Buck (nee Leroy) and her husband Hal Buck and her children Sarah, Ben and Emily Mayo; his son Jeff Leroy; and his stepchildren: Therese Coady (Peter), Doug Cram (Shelley), and Ian Cram (Tina) and their families. A Memorial Service will be held at the Boyce Funeral Home, 138 Daniel Street N., Arnprior on Friday June 26th at 11am with Internment at Arnprior Albert Street Cemetery.  In memoriams to the Grace St. Andrew’s United Church, Arnprior would be appreciated by his family.  Condolences/Tributes/Donations at www.boycefuneralhome.ca
