Surrounded by the warmth and love of her family, Carrie passed away peacefully in Orillia Soldiers Memorial Hospital on April 4th, 2015 in her 76th year. Beloved wife of Jim Farnsworth. Cherished mother of John, Leslie and her loving cat Sookie. Proud Grannie of Luka and Jack. Predeceased by her brothers; Alec, Neil, Ian, Kenneth and sisters; Jean, Edna, Edith, Anne and Isabel. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Special thanks to the entire Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital staff, notably the Dialysis Department staff and friends for the care and compassion shown to Carrie.
Following cremation, a Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, June 20th from 1pm – 2pm, at Sand Point Public Cemetery in McNab/Braeside Township (near Arnprior). Afterwards, please join us for an ‘End Of A Generation’ Carmichael Family Celebration Of Life at Danny Mac’s Pub & Eatery at 51 John Street North, Arnprior starting at 2pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
